Although the same company picks up the garbage and the recycling, it's not done at the same time.
Tongs & I ran over to the new non-sturbacks coffee shop (yes, that's right Virginia we do have quaint little coffee shops OTP) for a quick bite yesterday morning. When we returned, the recycling box was empty, so I grabbed it and the trash bin and put them back in their respective places. About 3pm, I heard the garbage truck, picking up my neighbor's garbage and thought, "that's odd, wonder why..." and then I realized that I had pulled my garbage bin in too soon. Arrgh.
